Man charged over drug offences - Kings Cross

Police have charged a man over alleged drug offences in Kings Cross yesterday.
About 6.10pm (Wednesday 7 May 2014), police stopped a man riding a black bicycle on Darlinghurst Road allegedly without a helmet.
Following checks, it was revealed the man was wanted for a number of other offences. He was arrested at the scene and taken to Kings Cross Police Station.
On arrival, officers searched the man and allegedly located more than 27 grams of methylamphetamine and cash.
The 33-year-old man was charged with supply prohibited drugs and knowingly deal in the proceeds of crime.
He was refused bail, to appear at Central Local Court today (Thursday 8 May 2014).
