Police appeal for witnesses following stabbing - Woolloomooloo

Police are conducting investigations into the stabbing of a man at Woolloomooloo last night.
About 6pm, Sunday 21 September 2014, police were called to St Vincent’s Hospital after a man attended the emergency department seeking treatment for a stab wound to his neck.
Detectives from Kings Cross Local Area Command commenced investigations and determined the stabbing occurred at Walla Mulla Park on Cathedral Street at Woolloomooloo earlier in the night.
A crime scene was established in the park and examined by specialist forensic officers while investigations into the stabbing continue.
The 32-year-old man, who is being uncooperative with police, remains in hospital in a stable condition and is expected to undergo surgery today (Monday 22 September 2014).
