Police have charged a fourth person following further investigations into the alleged supply of prohibited drugs at two licensed premises in Kings Cross.
Last year, police from Kings Cross Local Area Command formed Strike Force Dickson and Strike Force Larkhill to investigate the alleged supply of cocaine by the clubs’ staff to clientele.
This culminated in the execution of simultaneous search warrants at the clubs, both located on Darlinghurst Road, about 11pm on Saturday 19 December 2015.
Two women and a man were arrested during those raids and charged at Kings Cross Police Station with a range of drug-supply offences. They all remain before the courts.
Following further investigations, a 24-year-old woman attended Kings Cross Police Station yesterday (Monday 11 January 2016).
She was arrested and charged with two counts of supply prohibited drug.
The woman was given strict conditional bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday 2 February 2016.
The Independent Liquor & Gaming Authority has received long-term closure order applications in relation to the premises.
Both clubs have voluntarily suspended trading while these applications are under review by the authority.
