Three members of the Nomads outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) have been charged with consorting by officers from the Gangs Squad’s Strike Force Raptor.
Police will allege the three men were found to be consorting with convicted offenders despite receiving warnings from police.
About 6.45am on Friday 8 May 2015, Strike Force Raptor officers arrested a 28-year-old member of the Nomads Parramatta chapter outside his Fairfield home and took him to Fairfield Police Station.
Just after 9am that same day, a 41-year-old member of the Nomads Parramatta chapter was arrested at his Rooty Hill home and taken to Mount Druitt Police Station.
Both men were charged with habitually consort with convicted offenders after warning and granted conditional bail to appear at Fairfield Local Court on Monday 1 June 2015 and Monday 25 May 2015 respectively.
About 1.15pm, Strike Force Raptor officers arrested a 33-year-old senior member of the Nomads Sydney chapter after he attended Parramatta Police Station.
He was also charged with habitually consort with convicted offenders after warning and granted conditional bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Tuesday 23 June 2015.
More than 20 members of the Nomads OMCG have now been charged with consorting by Strike Force Raptor officers this year.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to the criminal activities of OMCGS to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report it directly to detectives via the Strike Force Raptor online reporting page:https://www1.police.nsw.gov.au/Default.aspx?id=49.
