Richard Charin reports about Timeline on Altgens6 for JFK assassination and position of Lee Harvey Oswald
To say Altgens6 could not be altered so quickly is a canard.There was a window of opportunity. .....
I quote from another site:
Paul Rigby, a most respected JFK researcher from the UK, has provided the OIC with a detailed time line of the Altgens6 photo and has proposed at least a two to three hour “window of opportunity” for alteration. Mr. Rigby’s work deserves discussion. He believes that there was a delay in the release of Altgens6 because it was initially wired to the AP headquarters in New York, but then appears to have been “cropped twice”.

On the basis of the available evidence, we can — provisionally at least — draw the following inferences:
(1) Altgens did not develop his own photos;
(2) Altgens6 went by fax, not to the world at large, but to the AP New York HQ, at just after 1:00 PM/CT;
(3) The negatives were sent by commercial airline, ostensibly to the same destination but did not arrive until hours after the initial fax;
(4) The dissemination of the image from NY did not occur until at least two hours after the fax arrived but before the arrival of the negatives;
(5) Both the AP and Altgens appear to have sought to conceal this hiatus;
(6) The AP acted against its own commercial interest in delaying release of Altgens6;
(7) The version which first appeared in the final editions of newspapers in Canada and the US on the evening of 22 November 1963 was heavily, and very obviously, retouched;
(8) Point (7) may not be the explanation, either full or partial, for the concealed delay; it is quite conceivable that obvious alterations were used to draw attention away from other more subtle stuff.

Since The Oakland Tribune afternoon EXTRA edition showing the cropped Altgens6 — and other visible features beyond the now obscured windshield — appears to have come out around 5:00PM/PT (or 8:00 PM/ET) and the photograph was taken at 12:30 PM/CT, the span between the photo’s being taken and its first newspaper publication would appear to be a maximum of 7 hours, if we accept The Tribune as real. Since Roy took it off the wire-photo-fax the following morning, that suggests it was actually sent out twice.
more...
The DeLoach memorandum of 25 November 1963, however, unequivocally claims that the AP did not disseminate the Altgens6 to subscribing newspapers until Saturday, November 23, 1963, which means that The Oakland Tribune got an earlier version than was nationally distributed the next day . Here is the memorandum (absent its addendum), which was added subsequently and is discussed below. Notice the language that is used to describe the photo and that he expected the FBI to further “experiment” with it. 21.19 Staff at the safety deposit centre lock up for the Easter weekend.
21.23 Mr Ginger appears, wearing latex gloves, a blue jacket and dark trousers and carrying a large black sack on his shoulders, keeping his head down obscuring his face from the camera. Seconds later he turns round, revealing his ginger hair under a black flat cap. He turns back on himself and makes his way downstairs towards the vault.
21.27 Street camera shows a white Ford Transit van pulling up to an alley beside the Hatton Garden Safe Deposit building.
Men are seen dragging wheelie bins down the alley before the white van drives away. A dark Audi TT, which may not be connected to the raid, is seen closely following behind.
Audi has the 4 rings.
21.30 The Gent arrives, wearing a hard hat, balaclava, and a high-vis jacket with Gas emblazoned on the back. He is carrying a large holdall and makes his way towards the vault. He is wearing dark trousers tucked into his stripy socks revealing a pair of smart brown shoes.
Brown shoes I noticed? Brown is the colour they use for the scorpion.
21.31 Mr Strong comes in wearing a builder’s hat and carrying steel supports, which could have been used for the diamond-tipped drill used to smash through the vault.
Seconds later The Gent returns and is now wearing a dust mask and a hard hat. He stands with Mr Strong and the pair move tools into the building.
21.33 The gang brings in more holdalls and tools and takes them downstairs towards the vault.
21.36 Mr Montana, in a top appearing to be emblazoned with “Montana”, is seen for the first time. Two minutes later he and Mr Strong drag wheelie bins in – one possibly containing the 77lb drill that bored through the reinforced 7ft concrete wall to reach the vault.
21.41 The gang struggle to move an air conditioning system out of the way to get another wheelie bin in. Mr Ginger is last seen shortly before 1am but there is no more movement above ground until they leave the next morning.

7.51 Mr Ginger now in a dust mask, baseball cap and balaclava brings up two purple holdalls. He places them on the floor by the fire door and waits for another gang member to come up. Mr Montana, wearing a baseball cap and trainers, brings up two red tool boxes. He has his head down but then turns to the camera – he has a shaved head, and possibly an earring in his left ear.
7.52 The Gent brings up a red monkey wrench and possibly massive bolt cutters, before leaving them on the side before he goes back downstairs.
8.02 The Gent comes up from the vault with a big black bucket full of tools before going back downstairs.
8.03 Mr Montana and Mr Strong come upstairs and put tools in a bag.
8.05 Three of the gang stand by the stairs at the top of the vault chatting. One is wearing pink trainers. The Old Man, a grey-haired chap who has not yet been seen on camera, comes upstairs and the gang start cleaning out the bags and tools then leave the premises.
8.12 The street camera captures the white Transit pull up to the alley. The gang, still in high-vis clothes, take two minutes to load up before driving off.
April 4th
22.17 The camera picks up Mr Ginger returning just over 48 hours after he first arrived on the scene. He is wearing latex gloves and carrying a black sack. He goes downstairs towards the vault.
22.32 The Tall Man enters the fire escape wearing a flat cap and carrying a blue Nike bag and a red tool box. The Old Man comes in wearing a high-vis jacket and carrying a dark holdall.
Just three of the gang have returned. There is no movement picked up on the camera until the following morning.
April 5
5.46 The Tall man wearing an Adidas tracksuit top comes up from the vault carrying two red tools. He returns downstairs but seconds later rushes upstairs and back down again with the tools.
6.01 All three men can now be seen – Mr Ginger, The Tall Man and The Old Man. The Tall Man and The Old Man struggle to move a bin before they drag it outside. The Old Man leans on the bin, struggling for breath, as he reveals a clear shot of the side of his face.
6.10 The gang returns with another wheelie bin. The Tall Man brings a tool bag upstairs. He goes back and forth a further four times in 20 minutes, bringing bags up from the vault.
6.12 The street camera captures Moped Man pull up then walk down the alley. He drives off 20 minutes later.
6.41 A white van arrives by the alley and the gang start loading equipment on it, including several wheelie bins.
6.43 The Tall man comes back in and picks up two red tools. He then leaves.
They take the red drills away, there was a robbery in December 2014 where allegedly these drills were taken. Police had not charged anyone in this case.
6.44 Three men get in the white van before driving off.
Same white van seen in the beginning and then driving off, no registration have seen on photos or reports.
