When I first moved in the room E leaked, the room F leaked.

Room F leaking, the kitchen area leaking, the lounge room roof going mouldy.

I have had plumbers out looking at the water leaks, yes with buckets on standby we have pushed ahead as you said no body corporate.  The backpackers have sinks which over flow until they are ready to turn taps off.

The other night my husband went up, and the sink was overflowing, the guy doing the dishes didnt care.  As the guy said, when Im ready Ill turn off the taps.

The floor waste was too high to take the water away.

Yes I am aware the rent has to be paid, but it seems that the history of the past businesses with drugs were not really known to me to the extent of the drug trade must've been upon taking over the business.  Yes the drugs issue, however we havent been selling drugs from the premises.  

The rent calculations on the other brothels I enquired about all sold drugs from now that I'm working in Kings Cross.  They were only a front as a brothel.

We were of the understanding that the business could be run as a brothel without the drugs, however the cost of the lease payments actually reflect a high turnover of drugs required to make ends meet.

Brado's Backpackers Water leak Kings Cross

Hi Ben,

I have a property you went to, at 36 Darlinghurst Rd Potts Point.

What happened Brado's Backpackers is the floor above, they have an area above our kitchen where the water has come in and made a whole in the ceiling.

Last Tuesday and then Thursday night the water ran through the walls affecting our meter box.

I need a repair done on the meter box for the lighting.

I would like a bill emailed so I can forward this to the realestate agent and others more easily.  There is a kitchen sink where the backpackers go and turn on the taps and walk away.  This flooding onto the floor cant be taken away due to the floor waste is at a higher level to the floor.

Police have charged a man who was allegedly involved with ‘skimming’ from ATM’s in the Parramatta CBD yesterday.

Shortly after 11am on Friday 6 June 2014, investigators from the Fraud and Cybercrime Squad acting on information received, observed a man acting suspiciously in Parramatta.

The man was observed to walk from one financial institution’s ATM in Macarthur Street to another ATM in Church Street.

Investigators will allege that he was observed to make several transactions with several cards.

A short time later he was detained and searched with police locating 15 store cards which are believed to have been encoded, with stolen card data.

The 27-year-old Fairfield man was arrested and taken to Parramatta Police Station where he was found to be in possession of more than $4000 cash.

The man was later charged with possess identification information, deal with identification information and dishonestly obtain financial advantage by deception.

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday 16 July 2014.
