Man charged after allegedly hindering a murder investigation - SCC Homicide Squad

A man has been charged as part of ongoing investigations into the murder of a man in Sydney CBD late last year.
Just before 7am on Monday 16 November 2015, police attended a hotel on Kent Street, Sydney, where they located the body of a 44-year-old man inside an apartment.
Detectives from Sydney City Local Area Command and State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad established Strike Force Polock to investigate the death.
Following extensive investigations, a 56-year-old man was arrested at Day Street Police Station about 10am today (Wednesday 7 September 2016).
He has been charged with hinder investigation and granted bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday 28 September 2016.
Three men and a woman have previously been charged with various offences in relation to the murder. They are all next due to appear at Central Local Court on Thursday 27 October 2016.
