Abstract
The vast majority of states have enacted full or partial medical marijuana (MMJ) programs, causing the number of patients seeking certification for MMJ use to increase dramatically in recent years. Despite increased use of MMJ across the nation, no studies thus far have examined the specific impact of MMJ on cognitive function and related brain activation. In the present study, MMJ patients seeking treatment for a variety of documented medical conditions were assessed prior to initiating MMJ treatment and after 3 months of treatment as part of a larger longitudinal study. In order to examine the effect of MMJ treatment on task-related brain activation, MMJ patients completed the Multi-Source Interference Test (MSIT) while undergoing functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). We also collected data regarding conventional medication use, clinical state, and health-related measures at each visit. Following 3 months of treatment, MMJ patients demonstrated improved task performance accompanied by changes in brain activation patterns within the cingulate cortex and frontal regions. Interestingly, after MMJ treatment, brain activation patterns appeared more similar to those exhibited by healthy controls from previous studies than at pre-treatment, suggestive of a potential normalization of brain function relative to baseline. These findings suggest that MMJ use may result in different effects relative to recreational marijuana (MJ) use, as recreational consumers have been shown to exhibit decrements in task performance accompanied by altered brain activation. Moreover, patients in the current study also reported improvements in clinical state and health-related measures as well as notable decreases in prescription medication use, particularly opioids and benzodiapezines after 3 months of treatment. Further research is needed to clarify the specific neurobiologic impact, clinical efficacy, and unique effects of MMJ for a range of indications and how it compares to recreational MJ use.

$9 Million Cannabis trial is unwarranted. License to Cultivate to heal the sick for Juanita Nielsen legacy to live on

Save $9million on Cannabis Trials. License to Cultivate Medical Cannabis is all that is needed. I have been told the research component is the large part of the NSW Cannabis Trials, this I have been working on to be internet based via apps and virtual clinic in the clouds where the Cannabis trial the patient is on can be monitored by the patient and all their Doctor's. Part of the service, I have put up what Aljen Projects is asking the government for as I requested no money through the tender and I'm hoping I'm not the only research based company that has offered this to heal the sick.

By the people they have been paying for products, I have heard all too often the cost is too dear. Yet the research to heal the body could be a blood test for many cancer patients to work on realigning the body within the Cannabis way.

I hope other Cannabis tenders tell the public what sort of money they have asked for from the government?

Let the people vote!!!!!

Don Medicinal Cannabis supplied from Outdoor Cannabis Crops

By my research Cannabis can get contaminated by absorbing elements from environment and soil.
I feel this will affect my supply of medicinal cannabis as it is grown organically outdoors in this region
A MASSIVE drug burn is taking place at Kyogle this morning after a week-long police operation targeting cannabis plantations across the Richmond LAC.

Medical Cannabis Male Plants to be grown by Prisons - Raw Cannabis to eat

Medical Cannabis Male Plants are great for the raw juicing.  Fresh is best.

Within various areas of NSW and Australia we have prisons with land. The crop of the future is now here.

Male types of Medical Cannabis plant do not create the high for smoking, the benefits are THC in a small dose, with CBD and a huge amount of CBN.

Within the various studies in history of the Cannabis Plant we  have learnt  the Cannaloids change within  the human body over time from CBD to THC as this plant balances the body and helps repair our own DNA by unblocking the pineal gland.

When this crop is planted and grown within the prison system, it is helping the prison food by allowing the inmates to utilise the Cannabis juice which will help the whole physical health and mental health within the environment.

With many drug users of ice, cocaine, heroin and further entering the prison system raw Cannabis juice will help with the coming down from the high's they had in the outside world and repair the person from the inside out.

According to Dr. Courtney, THC can be taken in doses of hundreds of milligrams when in its acid form. However, once heated, the tolerable dose drops to 10 mg a day.
Cannabis juice also contains CBDA, the acid form of CBD.
William Courtney, a Mendicino County-based physician, recommends eating — or juicing and then drinking — raw cannabis leaf and bud as a way to achieve megadose therapeutic impact from marijuana without psychoactive effect. The green plant contains tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in its acid form, THCA, which is not psychoactive.
Some effects, according to Courtney, “take three days to be appreciated. Others build for weeks. Full clinical benefit may take four to eight weeks to take effect. It takes that long for plant (phyto) cannabinoids to fully saturate the body’s adipose (fat) tissue. Phytocannabinoids are stored in the adipose tissue, as are the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E & K.”

Courtney cautions people with kidney or gallbladder problems that raw cannabis might pose a risk. He would not recommend it for a patient with Hypercalciuria, type II, Enteric Hyperoxaluria, or Primary hyperoxaluria.
Courtney notes, anyone on prescribed medications that can be blocked by grapefruit or pomegranate juice should advise their doctor if they are considering a raw cannabis regimen. Ditto those who are taking blood-thinning drugs such as Coumadin. Most leafy greens contain high amounts of Vitamin K, which can prevent the liver from metabolizing such drugs. and raw cannabis might, too.
Dr. Courtney recommends using 25 large fan leaves per day in juice, salsa, pesto, salad, etc.
Green Vegetables affect the blood in many ways.

NSW Police Force Hazard removal is there a connection with pot smoking increase in Kings Cross

In the history Abe Saffron and his accountant who guarded the garbage bins of heroin stocked in the offices in Kings Cross had a theory, if the drugs were caught they would come back to them through the back door.

We have in Kings Cross an increase of Pot smokers at the moment.  This is of interest when we have the large amount of Medical grown Cannabis being caught by the Police and pulled out of late.  Yet the alleged Rebels with the Pot farm at Wilton remain untouched.  Co-incidence...this is a report from 2008 yet we have probably the same system happening today.

In 2011, I could only find one pot smoker who had to have the smack delivered to him so now this has increased?  Why?  Police taking a tough line on the drug ice users...yet where has the products really gone?
Dolormatrix won the contract.  Now was sharemarket public listed.  Yet the website doesn't work?  How is this happening I think.  Dolarmatrix Australia Pty Ltd is one of 5 companies under this umbrella.  http://www.mysharetrading.com/dolomatrix-international-dmx.htm

Delisted in 2012, however still active with the tenders I noticed. http://www.delisted.com.au/company/dolomatrix-international-limited
