Scorpion Gang and Ibrahim co-incidence

While in jail Michael, who had been convicted over the manslaughter of Robin Nassour in 2006, organised a new outlaw bikie gang called Notorious. The new recruits were largely drawn from Michael's motley crew of young, violent men who called themselves the Notorious Scorpions and who had tattoos of scorpions inked on the top part of the hand between the thumb and index finger. Some also had the word "scorpion" tattooed along the underneath of their forearm.
The acronym "MC" motorcycle club now replaces the word "scorpion" to indicate gang membership. Who was behind the name change is the subject of dispute, though one thing is certain: Alen Sarkis, a former Parramatta chapter Nomad, drag racer and close associate of the Ibrahims, became the "national president" of the wannabe-bike club. He was also the last Ibrahim associate to see Fadi before he was gunned down.
